What is the Dark Archive?

I love stories.

To me, to me they’re more than simple entertainment. They’re escape from a world that gets more bizarre and stressful every day. They’re learning opportunities. Through the recitation and performance of them, they’re an outlet for creative energy that’ll burn me alive if I don’t get it out somehow.

I’ve been researching, absorbing, and adapting stories inside of White Wolf’s World of Darkness property for over 20 years. In that time that World has grown and deepened, to the point where its history is as rich as any fictional universe that exists anywhere.

So much so, in fact, that it can be a really daunting task to learn the details of any particular event in the canon.

That’s where the Dark Archive comes in.

See, I’ve done all the research; hundreds of hours of it over the past two decades. I’ve read nearly everything published in the Universe. These stories have been taking up a monumental amount of my brain-space, and I’ve spent the past couple of years trying to figure out how to make use of that.

After hearing Podcasts like Lore, History of Rome, and Hardcore History, I think I’ve figured out a way.

Each Chapter of the Dark Archives focuses on a specific character or event from the World of Darkness. I’ll hit the books, tease out a single cohesive narrative from among the myriad recountings, and present it in a compelling audio format.
